For many charities and social enterprises, the preparation and publishing of voluntary disclosure statements against benchmarks such as the AICD’s Not-for-Profit Governance Principles requires extensive research and authoring effort. This Corporate Governance Statement intends to do much of the heavy lifting for you and encourage a deviation away from the sector practice of adapting the ASX Corporate Governance Principles & Recommendations (4th Edition, 2019), providing the foundations for a Statement tied to one or more of the following:
The ACNC Governance Standards and/or External Conduct Standards;
The AICD Not-for-Profit Governance Principles; and/or
The ACFID’s Code of Conduct Signatory Quality Principles.
